E-League sign ups now live [12/Oct/23]

It's autumn, so we are into E-League time! Any and all university clubs can take part in the E-League. The sign up form is in the E-League section. Only one person from each club should register. If you are an individual at University without a club please also use the link to register.

But how does it work? There are five "rounds", stretching across the entire indoor season. The first E-League round comprises all of September and October, which means it has technically started. Round 2 is November, Round 3 is December and January combined. Round 4 is February and Round 5 is March. Scores need to be submitted by the 7th of the following month. Results are published after that, both for the round itself and for the season to date.

Team scores are calculated from the top 4 mixed non-compound scores, with novice team scores mixed team of 3 non-compound. There is also compound teams of 2. A, B and C team scores are all calculated if your club features enough archers. Each individual's best score in the round counts, although you can enter multiple bowstyles. All A teams go into the relevant Division 1. B and C teams go into Division 2. Teams get 15 points for coming first in the round, then 14 for 2nd, down to 1 for 15th. For individuals, it's 20 points for 1st and so on.

Tom Underhill (Surrey) has been confirmed as the new organiser of the E-League in 2023/24. He takes up the BUCS EMG role of Virtual Competitions. Underhill was an ever present in Surrey's 2022/23 SEAL winning campaign.

UKSAA strongly recommendeds the E-League. It's a great opportunity to take on clubs from all over the UK without ever leaving your own venue. The key to a successful campaign is to make sure you enter scores for all 5 rounds. Nottingham won their second and second consecutive E-League title last season. Yang Pei (Oxford) and Louisa Piper (Nottingham) were the individual recurve winners.
